FULFILLMENT CLOCK

The fulfillment clock brings to the user the most extreme type of cycle on any wearable piece. Instead of one cycle representing a second, hour or even a year, one revolution of the clock is supposed to symbolize one human lifetime. The piece, worn around the neck resting over heart, with a transparent face allowing the user to read the clock from either side. The optimist watching time moving forward, or viewed from the other side, the pessimist watching the clock counting down

FOUNTAIN

SodaStream has commissioned Todd Bracher to develop its first water machine to enable municipalities, schools, airports, businesses and institutions to provide fresh, cold, purified, filtered still and sparkling water to the public for free. Fountain has been designed to be installed in public and private spaces, making water accessible to all. Water can be filled in gasses as well as bottles, encouraging bottle reuse and helping to reduce the need to purchase plastic water bottles while on the go.

3M + Todd Bracher Present Lightfalls
WantedDesign

Design

LIGHTFALLS

Lightfalls capitalizes on the laws of physics to distribute light from a single LED source over a large space to create a “Virtual LED” driven by 3M technology. The key to enabling the “Virtual LED” is a more than 98% reflective proprietary 3M film that efficiently steers the light of a single LED from one module to another.  The final effect creates the image of multiple LED sources when in reality there is only one.

HADR

In a celebration of Hallingdal 65’s longevity, Kvadrat has invited a new generation of designers to explore new applications for the fabric.  Taking individual threads from deconstructed Hallingdal fabric, Todd Bracher’s hand woven Hadr highlights both the delicacy and the strength of the textile. ‘Kvadrat achieves its unparalleled colour and quality by dying each yarn individually, therefore we wanted to communicate the care Kvadrat takes in every strand.’

Truth in Design with Todd Bracher

Inspired by nature’s process of natural selection, Bracher approaches Design in a
unique way by building an ecosystem of values that results in a singular, essential solution.
Structure and form are evolved rather than Designed.

THE MUSIC PROJECT

The Music Project is a visual extrapolation of the universal language of music, a harmony of sound, design and science. The collection was created by working with custom written software that took the data from various audio sources and converts it into a visual image curated by Todd. The resulting five element collection offers the ability to fill an environment physically with the essence of Jazz, Classical, Electronica, or Ambient music.

T No1

As found in nature, the essential. A skeletal approach with a minimal amount of material, Darwinian. The design of the T-no1 is as follows; A surface for function, ribs to support the surface, a spine to hold the ribs and legs to bring the construction off the floor.
Designed to fit seamlessly into the world famous collection of Fritz Hansen. Balancing what we define as a ‘forward heritage’, compatible with the historical qualities of the brand while pointing to the future.
