T No. 1 , Fritz Hansen 2008 As always, the products that demonstrate Bracher’s provocative theories are easy on the eye and this is certainly true of the T-No.1 table. Sophisticated and natural are the words that best describe the T.No1 table. The material highlights its beauty, communicating both its presence and purpose. The sturdy, structural legs are made from mirror polished aluminium, also available in black lacquer. A streamline table top available in glass, white laminate, maple, walnut and oloured ash veneer in black. The table is available as individual units, or in combination with several units it makes up endless lengths of tables.

MARBLEWOOD, Mater 2007 Bowls, candlesticks and candelabras made of turned components in black or white Jaipur marble or Indian shisham wood. Bracher came up with the idea after visiting Indian artisans in workshops and noticing that their cast-offs included small chips of marble. By collecting and combining them, he has not only created strikingly graphic “conical totems” but also used waste material and provided extra income for the craftsmen. |
FLORA, Georg Jensen 2007 The form of the Flora vases is reminiscent of a bust, a female form, as the contours of the vases have been crafted with a distinct roundness and slenderness. What makes this vase unique is its ability to contrast and fuse together symmetry with asymmetry - a phenomenon which is found frequently in nature. The sculptural oval body implies containment which fuses into the slender neck implying growth found in nature. |
TOD, Zanotta 2005

The table’s organic quality acts a visual transition from floor to surface which contrasts the usual rectangular forms of the sofas and beds it sits beside. not only as works of art in their own right, but also as objects. Graphic
designers work just as hard at creating wonderful cover art, but for
some reason we insist on hiding them when books are placed side by side
on the traditional bookshelf covering one another. The angling of the books is an additional advantage for real living as it also allows for a more discreet bookcase, as it is greatly ‘Slimmer’ than a traditional library. |
TWOWAY, Mater 2007 a two-way candleholder in turned black or white marble with powder-coated metal insert for both tea lights and candles, which when placed together, the form allows for various set-ups. The marble is crafted in a small specialist factory by the skilled artisans of the vishwakarma community. our production partners in india source the stone locally and maintain the quality of production. together we ensure improvement of working conditions in the factory.
